Éric Biau



Éric Biau (born February 4, 1964 in Paris) is a French slalom canoer who competed from the late 1980s to the late 1990s.〔(Canoë-kayak. Sept athlètes récompensés Bilan 2011. Le Pôle France à l'honneur avant les JO. ) "En présence des différents responsables techniques nationaux (J.-P. Crochet, course en ligne ; Fred Roberol, descente ; Vincent Recton et Éric Biau, slalom)"〕 He won seven medals at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with a gold (C-2 team: 1997), three silvers (C-2: 1993; C-2 team: 1993, 1995) and three bronzes (C-2: 1995, 1999; C-2 team: 1999).
He also won a bronze medal in the C-2 team event at the 1998 European Championships in Roudnice nad Labem.
Biau also finished 11th in the C-2 event at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona.
His partner in the boat for most of his active career was Bertrand Daille.
